December’s first snowflake

For this music project, we were tasked to create an original song using any material like Pixabay, GarageBand, or anything else. The assignment had to contain a clear message, theme, or story rather than just random notes. For my group, we did a theme which was Christmas. In this task, we found an audio recording that is not usually used in songs. Our job was to listen to this sound and create a melody that fit it well. We experimented with different notes and rhythms to find the right tune that suited the specific style of the audio. although finding melodies are easy for some people, my group was the complete opposite. Finding the melody to the audio was a challenging thing for my group mostly because we weren’t that talented at singing and couldn’t really find the right tune that fit perfectly. The part I enjoyed the most was watching our project go from empty, to a full well structured song. I also enjoyed getting the opportunity to create an appropriate song however we liked. Overall, I think my group and I did so well and worked as a team and not just individually. I really REALLY loved doing this inquiry project and I hope we get to do this again sometime in the future but even more exciting. Measuring Weight/Mass in Grams and Kilograms

Task Description: This week in room two for maths we have been learning all about measuring weight/mass in grams and kilograms. Doing this task was so much fun especially because me and Catherine finished this SO fast. What seemed really challenging was figuring what objects were grams and kilograms because they looked the exact same. I hope that you all enjoy checking out my maths task. Athletics Reflection

this it my Athletics Reflection it was held at Pt England school and the weather was really sunny and hot I was a bit nervous but excited at the same time i hanged out with my friends Sprints  because im pretty fast but I didn’t  really push myself to do it the funniest moment was  when Anne threw the ball i thought it was gonna go far but i didnt and everyone was laughing By participating in most of the events  We encouraged each other to do the events and  Everyone was showing good sportsmanship when we were doing high jump and I learn that you might think the your not good at it entail you try it and some advice i would give to a year 6/7 on athletics day it do you your best and don’t stress  

Number Strategies

this week in room 2 we learned Number Strategies using addition, subtraction, time tables and division. Doing this task was so much fun. I hope that next time I get more challenging questions because this was so EASY. Make sure to leave a positive comment on my blog, thank you 

Immersion Assembly

Today the whole school had an immersion Assembly where  all of the teachers from every team perform  an item on the stage showing what topic they will be learning this term,  this term for  team 5 the topic is called Beyond the sky and we are learning about all the planets in the solar system including, what size they are and how far apart they are ,and how they work. My favourite item that was performed was team 3  when the teachers dressed up as the  Sun earth and the moon and did a rap that they made up about how the Sun moon and earth works I really liked how they were creative with the words and made it up themselves o also enjoyed watching team 4 because I liked the song that they used in their item called little Einstein because it was hyping and very energetic.i hope you enjoyed reading my blog post on how the Immersion Assembly went and what I think of my favourite items Please leave a positive comment on my blog.
